In the city of Gorapur, lived a wealthy family man named Jeimin. He was a businessman and he had all the wealth and prosperity on this earth. He had two children, a son named Jooni and a daughter Moni. His wife Ara looked after all the house matters, dedicatedly. They would go on trips on holidays, they would go shopping together, and they would have dinner together every day. It was a perfectly happy family.
But still, Jeimin was always worried about something and stayed restless.
One day, he decided to come out of this stress. So he went to meet his childhood friend Yeongi in another village.
While talking with his friend about their childhood memories, he thus had forgotten his problems and the stress of his current life.
Jeimin then brought up the purpose of his visit to Yeongi, that he has no shortage of anything but still he is always worried.
Yeongi heard his problem and said “Dear friend, can you come tomorrow again? I will tell you how to stay happy and stress-free.”
Jeimin came back to Yeongi the next day. He saw that his friend was looking for something outside his house.
He asked Yeongi “what are you looking for? May I help you!”. His friend said, “I was stitching my kurta and I dropped my needle so I am looking for it, which is lost.”
Hearing this, Jeimin also started searching for the needle. Even after searching for a long time, the needle was not found, then Jeimin asked his friend “where did you drop the needle exactly?”
Yeongi replied “The needle fell in my room, but it is very dark there, so I am looking for it here outside in bright sunlight.”
Jeimin asked surprised “When your needle fell in the house, why are you looking for it out here ??”
Yeongi said “This is the solution to your problem..”, he paused a bit.
“Happiness is inside you, but you are looking for it in money and materials. Money or property is important in life, but happiness cannot be bought by money”, Yeongi said looking at Jeimin. Jeimin was aware that his friend might have an explanation for this.
Yeonji could see that Jeimin was not convinced. So he continued “Jeimin, you are a family person. You are a businessman. A Balance is needed between these both lives. You need to take care of your job, family, society and also your personal interests.”. Jeimin knew he was about to get the solution to his problem when Yeongi continued “Many people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and get lost in the competition of survival in this world. While some work as per their interests but lose the sense of responsibility and waste their life without fulfilling their duties. Balance in life is very important. Work, family, health, and enjoyment are equally important. What you do in life is as much important as creating a balance between all of them.
Happiness is something that we choose for ourselves and it is a way we choose to live our life according to our being. It is our inner feeling that creates happiness with how we interpret the events of life.”.
Jeimin was convinced by Yeongi, that he hugged him tight and thanked him for saving him.
A Balance is needed between everything. You need to take care of your job, family and society also your personal interests.
Many people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and get lost in the competition for survival in this world. While some work as per their interests but lose the sense of responsibility and waste their life without fulfilling their duties. Balance is very important in life. Work, family, health, and enjoyment are equally important.
What you do in life is as much important as creating a balance between all of them.
